1. Start by unplugging the dryer and moving it away from the wall.
2. Open up the top of the dryer and prop it up using a block or something similar.
3. To remove the old idler pulley, use a ¼-inch nut driver to loosen the two bolts that hold it in place.
4. Remove the belt from the pulley and then take out the idler pulley assembly.
5. Insert the new 4561EL3002A LG Dryer Idler Pulley Assembly and tighten the two bolts holding it in place with the nut driver.
6. Thread the belt back through the pulley, making sure it is tight and secure.
7. Carefully lower the top of the dryer and plug it back in.
8. Test to make sure the dryer functions correctly and the belt is running without any problems.
