Step 1: Unplug the Dishwasher. Before beginning any repair work on your LG Dishwasher, you should always ensure that it is unplugged from the power source to eliminate the risk of electric shock.
Step 2: Place Towels Under the Dishwasher. To make sure that any liquid components do not get onto surrounding surfaces and cause damage, place towels under the dishwasher prior to beginning the repair.
Step 3: Locate the Blower Cover. The blower cover is located directly below the dishwasher door and can be easily identified as it typically has a white plastic finish.
Step 4: Remove the Blower Cover. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the three screws that are securing the cover in place. Carefully lift off the cover.
Step 5: Install the New Blower Cover. Place the new blower cover into position and secure it with the three screws that were removed earlier.
Step 6: Turn Power Back On. Now that the repair is complete, turn the power source back on so that the dishwasher can resume operation.
