The following parts are replaced by this product

1. Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet.
2. Locate the water filter in the lower grille at the bottom of the refrigerator.
3. Rotate the old filter counterclockwise to loosen and remove it from the base.
4. Insert the new filter in the base and rotate clockwise until the filter is firmly in place.
5. Reset the water filter indicator light, if applicable.
6. Reconnect the refrigerator to the electrical outlet.
7. Run water through the filter for 3 minutes to flush the system before use.
