1. Unplug the appliance and remove the shelves on the door.
2. Open the freezer door and locate the screws or tabs on the lower shelf's top left and right sides.
3. Remove the screws or tabs and carefully pull the plastic shelf support out of the inside of the freezer door.
4. Place the GE WR71X38335 shelf door in the opening and align it so that the tabs or screws fit into the pre-existing holes.
5. Secure the shelf by tightly fastening the screws or tabs from Step 2.
6. Slide the plastic shelf supports back into the opening and make sure they are securely in place.
7. Replace all of the shelves on the door and close the door.
8. Plug the appliance back in and check to ensure the shelf door is properly installed.
