1. Unplug the refrigerator from power and shut off the water supply line.
2. Open the refrigerator door and remove the top shelf by lifting it up and out of the door.
3. Locate the two screws on either side of the shelf support bracket and remove them.
4. Remove the shelf support bracket from the door, taking care not to damage the gasket around the edges.
5. Place the new shelf support bracket onto the door frame and secure it with the screws from step 3.
6. Place the new WR71X10979 GE Refrigerator Module Shelf FF Door onto the shelf support bracket, making sure that all four tabs on the shelf are securely seated in the slots.
7. Secure the shelf with the screws removed in step 2.
8. Close the refrigerator door and plug it back into power.
