Step 1: Unplug your GE refrigerator to disconnect the power before beginning any maintenance.
Step 2: Locate the evaporator fan motor inside the fridge. This can be found on the back wall behind the freezer.
Step 3: Remove the evaporator fan motor by unscrewing the two screws that are holding it in place.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harness from the evaporator fan motor. This can be done by gently pulling on the connector until it slides off.
Step 5: Install the replacement Bitron WR60X26085 evaporator fan motor by securing it with the two screws and then connecting the wiring harness.
Step 6: Plug the refrigerator back in to restore power.
Step 7: Monitor the operation of the new evaporator fan motor for correct performance.
