Step 1: Shut off the cold water supply to the refrigerator.
Step 2: Pull the refrigerator away from the wall and locate the inlet fill valve on the rear. Unplug the refrigerator.
Step 3: Disconnect the water line by removing the screw clamp or pushing in the disconnect clips.
Step 4: Use a flat blade screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the water inlet fill valve to the refrigerator.
Step 5: Disconnect the electrical wires that are attached to the valve.
Step 6: Remove the old valve, and install the new WR57X10033 GE Refrigerator Water Inlet Fill Valve.
Step 7: Reconnect the electrical wires and water line.
Step 8: Secure the new valve with the screws.
Step 9: Plug the refrigerator in and turn the cold water supply back on.
Step 10: Test the new valve to ensure it is working properly.
