Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet.

Step 3: Carefully remove the old condenser fan motor shroud assembly. You may need to unscrew screws or use a flat head screwdriver to loosen clips or fasteners.
Step 4: Once the old assembly is removed, inspect the area for any additional screws or brackets that may have been installed to secure the old assembly. Remove those as well.
