Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet.
Step 2: Open up your refrigerator and locate the condenser fan motor shroud assembly (WR17X24348).
Step 3: Carefully remove the old condenser fan motor shroud assembly. You may need to unscrew screws or use a flat head screwdriver to loosen clips or fasteners.
Step 4: Once the old assembly is removed, inspect the area for any additional screws or brackets that may have been installed to secure the old assembly. Remove those as well.
Step 5: Install the new WR17X24348 GE Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor Shroud Assembly, using the same screws and fasteners as the old one.
Step 6: Plug the refrigerator back into the electrical outlet and test the fan motor to make sure it’s working properly.
Step 7: Close the refrigerator and admire your handiwork!
