The following parts are replaced by this product

1. Unplug the appliance from the power source before beginning the repair or replacement.
2. Remove any screws securing the control panel to the wall, then lift the bottom of the control panel and slide it off.
3. Find the two main circuit boards located inside the control panel.
4. Locate the GE WP26X28394 service main board and identify the wires connected to it.
5. Carefully remove the wiring from the board using a pair of needle-nose pliers.
6. Unscrew and remove the board from the control panel.
7. Take the new board and connect the wiring to it in the same way as the old board.
8. Secure the board back into the control panel and reassemble the control panel.
9. Turn on the power and test the repair by checking for proper operation.
