If your washing machine lid is broken or cracked, don’t worry because replacing it is an easy task that you can do yourself. Here’s how to replace the WH44X24385 large lid white in just a few simple steps.
1. Unplug the washing machine from the electrical outlet.
2. Unscrew the two screws located at the back of the control panel with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the control panel.
3. Gently pull the front of the lid towards you until the top of the lid slides off the back of the washer.
4. Disconnect the wires from the lid by pressing down on the release clips.
5. Remove the screws from the sides of the lid and then pull the lid off the washer.
6. Place the new lid onto the washer and re-install the screws.
