Replacing the GE WH41X10280 Hose Drain Inlet
Tools Needed:
• Flat-blade Screwdriver
• Pliers
• Ratchet
• Socket Set
• Replacement Hose Drain Inlet (GE WH41X10280)
Instructions:
1. Unplug the household appliance from the wall socket and shut off the water supply to the appliance.
2. Move the appliance away from the wall and remove the access panel to the back of the appliance.
3. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to remove the mounting screws that hold the old hose drain inlet in place.
4. Use pliers to detach the hoses from the old hose drain inlet.
5. Use a ratchet and socket set to loosen and detach the old hose drain inlet from the appliance.
6. Slide the new hose drain inlet (GE WH41X10280) into place, making sure it is securely mounted.
7. Reattach the hoses to the new hose drain inlet using pliers, ensuring they are tight.
8. Replace the access panel to the back of the appliance, and move the appliance back in place.
9. Turn the water supply back on, and plug the appliance back into the wall socket.
10. Test the new hose drain inlet to make sure it is working properly.
