1. Unplug your washing machine's power cord from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply.
2. Place a few towels around the base of the washing machine to catch any water that may drip out.
3. Remove the front panel by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place.
4. Slide the belt off the pulley and motor shaft, remove the old pulley and nut and set aside.
5. Replace them with the new GE WH03X32097 TRANSMISSION PULLEY & NUT that you purchased.
6. Make sure the pulley & nut are properly aligned and tight.
7. Reattach the belt and slide it onto the new pulley.
8. Secure the front panel back on the washing machine and reconnect the power cord.
9. Turn on the water supply and plug in the power cord.
10. Test the new pulley & nut by running a cycle as usual.
