Replacing the GE WH01X27538 Belt Drive
Tools You'll Need:
• Phillips Screwdriver
• pliers
• New belt
Instructions:
1. Unplug the GE WH01X27538 washing machine from the power source.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws from the back of the washer. Once the screws have been removed, lift the back of the washer to access the machine's inner workings.
3. Locate the belt and carefully remove it by using your pliers.
4. Take the new belt and place it around the motor pulley and the washer drum. Make sure that it is tightened securely.
5. Replace the back panel of the washer and secure it with screws.
6. Plug the power cable back into the power source.
7. Test the machine to make sure the belt has been installed properly.
Your GE WH01X27538 washing machine should now be functioning properly with the new belt!
