1. Begin by unplugging the appliance from the power source.
2. Remove the front cover of the appliance. This is typically secured with screws. Using the appropriate screwdriver, remove all screws from the front cover and set aside.
3. Locate the GE WH01X24376 BUTTON TREE on the appliance. It should be connected to a cable that runs through the back of the appliance.
4. Unhook the cable from the button tree. Take note of where the cable is connected to ensure it will be placed back in the proper location when you are finished.
5. Gently unscrew the button tree and place it aside.
6. Insert the new button tree and secure tightly with the screws.
7. Reattach the cable to the new button tree. Make sure the connection is secure.
8. Replace the front cover and secure with the screws.
9. Plug the appliance back into the power source and test the new button tree.
