The following parts are replaced by this product

  1. WH01X10353
1. Unplug the GE washer power cord from the power outlet.

2. Access the rear of the washer by tipping it forward and placing a board or something strong to support the washer as you work (preferably with two people). Remove the back panel.

3. With an adjustable wrench, unscrew the large bolt that holds the motor bracket in place.

4. Carefully lower the motor and the drive belts from the bracket, taking note of their respective positions.

5. Slide the old drive belt off of the pulley.

6. Place the new drive belt on the pulley, ensuring it is centered.

7. Raise the motor and the drive belts back up into the bracket and secure them with the large bolt.

8. Re-secure the washer's back panel and carefully tip it back into its upright position.

9. Plug the power cord back into the outlet and test the washer to ensure the new drive belt is working properly.
