Step 1: Unplug the appliance and turn off the gas shutoff valve.
Step 2: Remove the screws that hold the gasket in place. Be sure to keep track of the screws as you will need them to re-install the new gasket.
Step 3: Carefully remove the old gasket, being careful not to damage it.
Step 4: Clean the surface around the area where the gasket was located and make sure that all debris is removed.
Step 5: Apply a thin coat of adhesive to the surface where the gasket will be placed.
Step 6: Place the new gasket into position and press it firmly against the surface.
Step 7: Secure the gasket with the screws you removed earlier and tighten them securely.
Step 8: Turn on the gas shutoff valve and plug in the appliance.
Step 9: Test the gasket by running the appliance and making sure that there are no leaks.
