1. Unplug the dryer power supply cord from its electrical outlet.
2. Remove the dryer cabinet back panel, which is held by several screws.
3. Locate the existing timer and unplug it from the wiring harness by disconnecting the terminals. There should be two spade terminals and one round terminal.
4. Remove the mounting screws and the existing timer.
5. Position the new WE4M532 GE Timer into place and secure it with the mounting screws.
6. Plug the wiring connections from the new timer into the exact locations as the old timer.
7. Reinstall the back panel to the dryer and plug the dryer power supply cord back into the electrical outlet.
8. Test the dryer cycle functions.
