Replacing the GE WE4M527 Control Timer:
1. Unplug the dryer before servicing.
2. Remove the back panel of the dryer.
3. Locate the control timer in the lower right corner of the dryer.
4. Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the back of the timer by unlocking the clips and lifting them.
5. Remove the mounting screws that secure the timer to the dryer's cabinet.
6. Pull out the old timer and disconnect it from the cabinet.
7. Insert the new timer into the cabinet and reconnect the wiring harnesses.
8. Screw the new timer securely in place with the mounting screws.
9. Replace the back panel of the dryer.
10. Plug the dryer back in and turn it on to test.
