How to Replace a GE Push-to-Start Switch (WE4M416)
Tools and Materials:
• New GE Push to Start Switch (WE4M416)
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Wire cutters
• Needle-nose pliers
Instructions:
1. Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet.
2. Open the dryer door and locate the switch that needs to be replaced.
3. Remove the two screws holding the switch in place using a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Disconnect the wires from the old switch. Use wire cutters to trim the wires to length, if necessary.
5. Connect the wires to the new switch using needle-nose pliers to twist the wires together.
6. Secure the switch in place with the two screws.
