3. Place the new timer knob onto the shaft of the timer, ensuring that it lines up correctly.
4. Press the knob firmly into place and turn it clockwise until it is snug.
5. Plug the power cord and turn the breaker switch on.
6. Test the new timer knob to ensure it is working correctly.
