1. Unplug the power cord of your GE dryer from the wall outlet.
2. Pull the lint screen filter out of the slot at the top corner of the dryer drum.
3. Vacuum out any lint that may be stuck inside the lint screen filter.
4. Buy a new lint screen filter compatible with your GE dryer model (it is usually located near the inlet ports on most models).
5. Slide the new lint screen filter into the slot at the top corner of the dryer drum.
6. Plug the power cord of your GE Dryer back into the wall outlet.
7. Test the dryer and make sure the lint screen filter is working properly.
