1. Unplug the appliance from the power source.
2. Find the area where the high-limit thermostat is located and remove the panel covering it.
3. Disconnect the two wires connected to the old thermostat using a flathead screwdriver to pry the clips off the terminals.
4. Take the new thermostat (GE WE04X26138) and attach the two wires to the terminals.
5. Make sure the thermostat is securely attached to the panel, then replace the board covering it.
6. Plug your appliance back into the power source.
7. Test to see if the thermostat works properly by turning on the appliance and adjusting the temperature.
