1. Unplug your dryer from the power source to avoid electrocution or injury.
2. Remove the dryer's back panel to access the thermostat.
3. Unscrew and disconnect the wires connected to the existing thermostat with a screwdriver.
4. Remove the existing thermostat and replace it with a new WE04X25195 GE Dryer Cycle Thermostat.
5. Connect the wires to the new thermostat in the same position as the old one (wire colors should match).
6. Screw the new thermostat in place.
