Replacing the GE WE03X25079 Top Bearing
Step 1: Unplug the dryer
Unplug the dryer to ensure that no electricity runs through it.
Step 2: Remove the old bearing
Remove the front panel of the dryer by unscrewing the screws on either side with a screwdriver. Unhook any wiring connections and remove the front panel completely. Locate the old bearing and use a putty knife to remove it from the grooves along the sides.
