Replacing the GE WE01X30378 Handle Solid Door
1. Start by locating the offset screws that attach the existing handle to its mounting plate. If necessary, use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screws.
2. Carefully remove the handle and the mounting plate.
3. Place the new handle and its corresponding mounting plate onto the face of the dryer door. Line up the holes in the plate with those on the door.
4. Secure the new handle to the mounting plate using the provided screws. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screws.
5. Reattach the door strike to the door frame. Make sure that it is lined up correctly and securely fastened.
6. Replace the Phillips head screws and any washers removed from the door frame.
7. Pull the door open to ensure the new handle is properly and securely attached.
8. When finished, clean any dirt or dust off of the door and its components for a sparkling finish.
