Replacing the GE WE01X30221 Handle on a Solid Door
1. Begin by shutting off all power to the appliance. This can be done by unplugging the appliance from the wall or turning off the circuit breaker for the appliance.
2. Open the appliance’s door and remove all contents from inside. Then, open the old handle by unscrewing the two screws on each side of it.
3. Take the old handle off and inspect the new handle for any damages. If everything looks good, then place the new handle on the door in the same location as the old handle.
4. Secure the new handle in place by screwing the two screws on each side with the right size of a screwdriver. Make sure that the screws are fully tightened.
5. Close the door and inspect the handle to make sure that it is installed properly.
6. Turn the power back on and your new handle is ready to use. Enjoy!
