1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet.
2. Remove the two screws that secure the control panel to the cabinet.
3. Lift the control panel up and away from the washer.
4. Locate the GE WD16X10012 CAM TIMER on the rear of the control panel and unplug the connectors from it.
5. Remove the three screws from the timer and remove the timer from the control panel.
6. Install the new GE WD16X10012 CAM TIMER and secure it with the three screws.
7. Plug the connectors into the timer.
8. Reattach the control panel to the washer and secure it with the two screws.
9. Plug the washer into the power outlet.
10. Test the washer.
