1. Unplug your GE Dishwasher from the electrical outlet.
2. Turn off and disconnect the water supply line to the dishwasher.
3. Open the dishwasher door, and remove any dishes and utensils that may be inside.
4. Using a putty knife or other flat-edged tool, pull up the side of the lower dishrack to expose the lower rack rear roller.
5. Unscrew and remove any screws that are securing the roller in place.
6. Remove the old roller, and then fit a new roller into the same space.
7. Secure the new roller with the screws that you removed in step 5.
8. Push the side of the lower dishrack back into place.
9. Plug the dishwasher back into the outlet and turn the water supply on.
10. Test the roller by pushing and pulling the lower dishrack. If it moves without issue, the replacement was successful.
