Replacing the GE Dishwasher Plastic Tub Gasket (WD08X23476)

Materials Needed:
- WD08X23476 GE Dishwasher Plastic Tub Gasket
- Flathead Screwdriver
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Pliers
- Putty Knife
Instructions:
1. Unplug the dishwasher and shut off the water supply.
2. Remove the screws along the top of the access panel using a flathead screwdriver.
3. Slide the access panel off to expose the dishwasher's internal components.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the tub to the unit.
5. Carefully lift up the tub and place it aside. Make sure to prop it up so that it does not come into contact with any other components.
6. With pliers, remove the old gasket from the rim of the tub. If there is excess adhesive, use a putty knife to scrape it off.
7. Take the new WD08X23476 GE Dishwasher Plastic Tub Gasket and stretch it around the tub's perimeter.
8. Once you have secured the gasket in place, reattach the tub to the unit using the screws you removed previously.
9. Turn the water supply back on and plug the dishwasher back in.
