1. Start by shutting off the power to the microwave and unplugging it from its electrical outlet.
2. Remove the screws around the inside of the microwave door to take out the interior panel that houses the door frame assembly.
3. Carefully remove the door frame assembly, taking care not to damage any of the wires that are connected to it.
4. Place the new GE WB56X21097 DOOR FRAME ASM in position and attach it with the screws that were removed from the old door frame.
5. If necessary, reconnect the wires to the new door frame assembly.
6. Reattach the interior panel and secure it in position with the original screws.
7. Reset the power to the microwave and plug it into its electrical outlet.
8. Test the microwave to ensure that the new door frame assembly is functioning correctly.
