DIY Instructions on How to Replace a WB32X10012 GE Range Stove Cook Top 6" DRIP PAN CHROME
1. Before beginning, be sure to disconnect the range from the wall outlet and turn off all power sources associated with the stove.
i. If using gas, turn off the gas valve.
2. Remove the grates and burner heads from the top of the stove. With a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screws holding the drip pan in place.
3. Lift the old drip pan out of the stove.
4. Using a cloth or rubber mallet, gently tap the new drip pan into place.
5. Secure the new drip pan with the screws that were holding the old one in place.
6. Replace the grates and burner heads on the stove.
7. Reconnect the range to the wall outlet and/or gas valve.
8. Test the range cooktop to make sure it is working properly.
