Step 1: Begin by unplugging the stove or range from electrical power source.
Step 2: Remove the burner grates and the caps or rings that cover the burners.
Step 3: Loosen the screws holding the WB30X342 burner unit in place and remove the unit carefully.
Step 4: Clean the surface of the cooktop before you install the new burner unit.
Step 5: Place the new WB30X342 GE Stove Range Stove Cook Top 6" BURNER UNIT 3W NO TRIM RING on the surface, making sure it fits securely.
Step 6: Secure the burner unit using the screws you removed in Step 3. Be sure to tighten the screws firmly.
Step 7: Replace the burner grates and caps or rings.
Step 8: Plug in the oven or range, and check to make sure the burner is working properly.
