1. Unplug the appliance from the power source.
2. Remove the screws that secure the access panel to the cooktop and gently remove them to access the haliant element.
3. Disconnecting the wire harness from the back of the existing haliant element, noting how it was connected.
4. Remove the screws that hold the existing haliant element in place, and remove the element.
5. Set the new WB30T10136 GE 8" Element Haliant in the space you just cleared.
6. Connect the wire harness to the back of the new haliant element using the same configuration as the old one.
7. Secure the new haliant element with the screws you removed in step 4.
8. Replace the access panel and re-secure the screws you removed in step 2.
9. Plug the appliance back into the power source.
10. Test the new haliant element to ensure proper operation.
