Replacing the GE WB29X28253 CAP OUTER DIY Instructions
1. Before beginning, make sure the power is off to the appliance. Turn off the breaker or unplug the cord from the wall outlet to ensure safety.
2. Take off the back panel of the appliance to locate the cap outer.
3. Unscrew the securing screws/bolts on the sides of the cap outer to remove it from the appliance.
4. Insert the new GE WB29X28253 cap outer into the same space the previous one was located and secure the screws/bolts tightly.
5. Put the back panel back into place and secure the screws/bolts.
6. Plug in the power cord or flip the breaker switch to turn the power back on.
7. Test the appliance to ensure the replacement part is functioning correctly.
