How to Replace an Infinite Switch on a GE WB24T10025

Replacing the infinite switch on a GE WB24T10025 is a relatively simple task that can be done with basic hand tools and should take no longer than 30 minutes. Follow these steps to safely replace your infinite switch and get your appliance working as good as new.

1. First, disconnect the power to the range or oven before you begin the repair. Ensure the power is off by unplugging the appliance or turning off the circuit breaker.

2. Unscrew the screws located at the back of the range or oven and remove the back panel. This will give you access to the infinite switch.

3. Unplug the wires from the infinite switch. Remove the retaining screws holding the switch in place. Pull the switch out of the mounting hole.

4. Insert the new infinite switch. Reattach the wires and make sure that they are properly secured.

5. Use the same screws to secure the back panel and reattach the power source.

6. Turn the range or oven back on and test the infinite switch. If it works properly, you have successfully replaced the infinite switch on a GE WB24T10025.
