1. Turn off the power supply to the dishwasher to avoid any electrical shock.
2. Open the dishwasher panel and remove the screws securing the existing handle, being careful not to damage the surrounding components.
3. Carefully detach the existing handle from its mountings and set it aside.
4. Insert the mounting brackets of the new GE WB15X26776 HANDLE WW into place, lining up the screw holes with the dishwasher panel.
5. Secure the new handle by carefully inserting and tightening the screws.
6. Check to make sure the handle is secured in place. If it is not, repeat steps 4 and 5 until it is.
7. Once the handle is secure, close the dishwasher panel and turn the power supply back on.
