Step 1 - Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and turn off the water supply.

Step 3 - Carefully lift the handle and end cap assembly off of the door. Take care not to break the plastic parts.
Step 4 - Take out the new assembly from the packaging and check that all the parts are there. You should have the handle and two end caps, plus the hardware necessary for installation.
Step 5 - Secure the handle to the door with the provided screws and make sure it is tightened properly for a secure fit.
Step 6 - Place the two end caps over the screw mounts. Make sure that the end caps are aligned properly and flush against the door.
Step 7 - Secure the endcaps with the provided screws and tighten them securely.
Step 8 - Re-connect the refrigerator to the power outlet and turn on the water supply.
Step 9 - Test the new handle and end cap assembly by opening and closing the door to make sure it is working properly.
