1. Begin by safely turning off the power to the range hood by unplugging the unit or turning off the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the range hood's filter and plastic fan cover.
3. Place a soft cloth or towel on a flat surface and place the canopy mica on the cloth.
4. Unscrew the two screws that are holding the old canopy mica in place.
5. Pull the old canopy mica away from the range hood.
6. Position the new canopy mica in place and secure it with the two screws.
7. Replace the filter and plastic fan cover.
8. Turn the power back on and test the range hood.
