The following parts are replaced by this product
- FXSLC
1. Unscrew the cap from the top of the filter housing unit. Place the cap aside for later.
2. Gently pull the filter out of the filter housing unit and discard it.
3. Take the new FXSVC GE SmartWater Dual Stage Drinking Water Replacement Filter and insert it into the filter housing unit. Make sure to firmly push the filter in until it is completely secured.
4. Screw the cap back onto the top of the filter housing unit and ensure it's tight.
5. Flush the filter with cold water for 3-5 minutes or until the water runs clear. This will remove any remaining carbon sediment.
6. Check the connections on the filter unit to ensure they are secure and there are no leaks.
7. Enjoy your fresh, clean drinking water!
