Step 1: Unplug the Range - To begin, unplug the range from its power source.
Step 2: Remove the Cooktop - Lift the cooktop up and off the range. Once the cooktop is removed, you should have access to the Fisher & Paykel 531606 Electrode Top Burner.
Step 3: Remove Old Burner - On the underside of the cooktop, there will be several screws holding the burner in place. Carefully unscrew these screws and remove the old burner.
Step 4: Install New Burner - Place the new Fisher & Paykel 531606 Electrode Top Burner onto the mounting plate and secure it with the screws you previously removed.
Step 5: Reinstall Cooktop - Once the new burner is securely in place, replace the cooktop in its original position.
Step 6: Check Connections - Make sure all connections are secure and properly connected before you turn on your power source and fire up the burner.
Step 7: Plug in Range - Finally, plug in the range and test the new Fisher & Paykel 531606 Electrode Top Burner to ensure it's working properly.
