1. Begin by unplugging your appliance from the wall to avoid electric shock risk.
2. Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully unscrew the two screws on the outside of the Fisher & Paykel Oven control panel.
3. Gently pull off the metal control panel cover, exposing the top of the Fisher & Paykel 248840 KNOB ASSY WO30.
4. On the underside of the Fisher & Paykel 248840 KNOB ASSY WO30, you will find two small plastic clips. Carefully pry these clips off using the flathead screwdriver.
5. Once these two clips have been released, the Fisher & Paykel 248840 KNOB ASSY WO30 can be removed from the oven control panel.
6. To replace the Fisher & Paykel 248840 KNOB ASSY WO30, insert the new one into the oven control panel. Make sure it is properly seated and the two small plastic clips are pushed back into place.
7. Press the Fisher & Paykel 248840 KNOB ASSY WO30 securely into the oven control panel.
8. Securely screw the two screws on the outside of the oven control panel back in place.
9. Replace the metal control panel cover, making sure it is pushed in firmly and securely.
10. Finally, plug your oven back into the wall to complete the replacement process.
