2. Detach the ignitor wire from the burner head, and remove the Phillips-head screw securing the ignitor in place.
3. Use a pair of pliers to gently pry the old ignitor away from its mounting bracket.
4. Carefully slide the new 211542P ignitor into place at the top of the mounting bracket. Make sure that it is securely seated before moving on.
5. Reattach the ignitor wire, and then secure the ignitor in place using the Phillips-head screw.
6. Replace the burner head and grate in their original positions, being careful not to touch the ignitor.
7. Turn the burner knob to the "High" setting to test the new ignitor. The flame should light up immediately.
