DIY Replace the Chromalox MP26MA 8" Electric Stove Range Cooktop Top Burner Unit
1. Make sure your electricity is shut off before you begin the replacement process.
2. Remove the two screws in the back of the range and pull the old burner unit out of its housing.
3. Once the old unit has been removed, disconnect the wire connections from the back of the burner unit.
4. Take the new Chromalox MP26MA 8" Electric Stove Range Cooktop Top Burner Unit and connect it to the wiring in the back of the range.
5. Secure the new unit in place using the two screws removed earlier.
6. Once the unit is secured in place, turn the power back on.
7. Plug the new unit into the 240V outlet, and then turn the power switch on to test that the new top burner unit is functioning properly.
