To access the p ...art, lift the top of the dryer by releasing the spring clips from the top panel with a putty knife. Then remove the door switch wires and the screws that release the front panel. Next, simply loosen the screw that holds in the igniter to remove it. Please note that the bracket is no longer included with this part. If your original igniter was round, also order bracket (item 37001309). Replacing this assembly will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. The Top Load Washer Motor Rotor connects to the spin basket shaft and rotates the spin basket. You'll get the motor rotor and the motor rotor bolt with this kit. This part lives at the bottom of your washer, so you'll have to tilt the washer back and lean it against something sturdy. Make sure the splines on the shaft are lined up with the splines on the motor rotor.
