This Top Load Washer Agitator Washer is attached to the transmission shaft right below the agitator. If this small plastic part is lost or damaged, replacing this part may all ...eviate the issue. Once you remove the top of the agitator and loosen and remove the agitator bolt, remove the agitator from the washer. You'll then be able to access the agitator washer after removing the retaining clip from the shaft. Note that the design of this product may differ from the existing one in your appliance, but it will install and operate the same.
