When replacing, remove the old burner assembly by turning it counter clockwise by hand. If you are unable to loosen the old burner by hand, using a strap wrench will help. When you remove the ground and the spark wires from the old burner head, make sure they don't fall back into the range top. Turn the new burner head clockwise to lock when replacing. This burner is for the rear of your range. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience.
