To access the p ...art, lift the top of the dryer by releasing the spring clips from the top panel with a putty knife. Then remove the door switch wires and the screws that release the front panel. Next, simply loosen the screw that holds in the igniter to remove it. Please note that the bracket is no longer included with this part. If your original igniter was round, also order bracket (item 37001309). Replacing this assembly will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
