Step 1: Disconnect the Negative Battery Connection. Make sure to do this step first; otherwise, you risk damaging the system. To begin, locate the black negative cable, located on the left side of the battery. Loosen the bolt using a socket wrench set, and then pull the cable away from the battery.

Step 2: Take out the Old Sensor. Locate the old sensor, located near the front of the intake manifold. Using a flathead screwdriver, unscrew and remove the sensor bolts. Carefully take out the old sensor and dispose of it properly.

Step 3: Install the Replacement Sensor. Now that the old sensor has been removed, you’re ready to work on installing the new Bosch 00601059 replacement sensor. With the provided installation kit, carefully attach the new sensor to the intake manifold. Make sure to keep the sensor snugly placed.

Step 4: Reattach the Negative Cable. After the new sensor has beeninstalled, it’s time to reattach the negative cable to the battery. Put the cable back in its place and use the socket wrench set to tighten the bolt.

After following these steps, your Bosch 00601059 sensor replacement is complete. Remember to always consult with a professional if you feel uncomfortable performing a DIY repair.
