Replacing the Bosch 00428476 KNOB TEMPERATURE
Step 1: Unplug your appliance. Disconnect the power to the appliance before attempting any repairs or maintenance.
Step 2: Locate the temperature control knob. Depending on the location of your unit, the knob may be located on the front, side, or back panel of the appliance.
Step 3: Remove the old knob. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the old knob off the appliance. There will be a small plastic tab underneath the knob that needs to be pushed down in order to remove the knob.
Step 4: Install the new knob. Place the new knob over the post and press down. The plastic tab should click into place, securing the knob in position.
Step 5: Reconnect the power supply and test. Once the new knob is securely in place, plug your appliance back in and turn it back on. Test to make sure the knob is working properly and adjusting the temperature correctly.
